Ashman

Ashman

(2021)

In a world where fire and ash are more than mere elements, “Ashman” follows the gripping journey of Elias, a young man born into a family cursed by a fiery legacy. The Ashmen, a secretive group of elemental wielders, can control the powers of fire but at a tremendous price: with every use, they risk losing a piece of their humanity, their emotions turning to ash. Elias discovers this at a young age when he accidentally ignites a wildfire that devastates the land, leading to the loss of lives and isolation from his community.

Years later, now a skilled but reluctant wielder of fire, Elias is haunted by his past and strives to suppress his powers. However, when an oppressive regime rises, seeking to harness the Ashmen’s abilities for its own tyrannical purpose, Elias is unwillingly pulled back into a world he desperately tried to leave behind. The regime begins capturing elemental wielders, using fear to gain control over the land. Elias must confront his inner demons and come to terms with the very powers he has been shunning.

Accompanied by Mara, a fierce and determined refugee with her own connections to the Ashmen, the duo embarks on a quest to gather a small band of elemental outcasts. Among them is Lira, a compassionate healer who represents the side of humanity Elias fears losing, and Kade, a rogue Ashman with a tragic past that mirrors Elias’s own. Together, they must navigate a treacherous landscape of betrayal, danger, and awakening loyalties.

As Elias learns to embrace his powers, the group uncovers the truth behind the regime’s connection to the Ashmen and the hidden history that binds them all. Themes of redemption, sacrifice, and the fine line between power and humanity echo throughout their journey. With a stunning visual landscape of fire and ash, “Ashman” explores not only the external fight against tyranny but also the internal battle of accepting one’s true self. As the stakes elevate, Elias must decide whether he will become the weapon the world needs or sacrifice everything to reclaim his lost humanity.
