(2021)

In the heart of a bustling city, “Found” follows the intertwined lives of three strangers, each on a journey shaped by loss, longing, and the search for belonging. Jesse, a talented but disillusioned artist, struggles to find inspiration after losing her younger brother to addiction. Shattered and retreating from the vibrant world around her, she channels her grief into her art, creating haunting illustrations that depict her brother’s memory.

Meanwhile, Miles, a compassionate social worker, is determined to make a difference in the lives of lost souls in his neighborhood. He dedicates his life to helping young people escape the cycles of violence and addiction, but he carries his own emotional burdens. Haunted by a troubled childhood and the guilt of a decision he can never undo, Miles seeks redemption through his work, often pushing himself to the brink.

One fateful evening, the paths of Jesse and Miles cross when he stumbles upon her artwork displayed in a local café. Struck by the raw emotion captured in her illustrations, he reaches out to her, hoping to help her find closure. Their connection deepens as they share their stories, each finding solace in the other’s pain. Yet, the past is relentless, and just as they begin to heal, Jesse discovers an unsettling truth about her brother’s last days that ties her family to Miles in an unexpected way.

Across town, Lena, a rebellious teen struggling with her own identity, goes missing after a series of run-ins with the law. As Miles and Jesse band together to search for her, they uncover not only the dark undercurrents affecting Lena’s life but also the secrets hidden in their own hearts.

“Found” is a raw exploration of human connection and the transformative power of love and forgiveness. Through heartfelt storytelling and vivid character arcs, this limited series delves into the complexities of mental health, the effects of trauma, and the enduring bond that can stem from shared pain. As each character confronts their inner demons, they learn that sometimes, what you’re searching for outside is already within you.
