In a near-future world ravaged by environmental collapse and geopolitical strife, “Iron Sky” follows the audacious journey of an unlikely group of survivors who uncover a hidden realm above the Earth—an ancient, technological marvel established during World War II by a secret Nazi regime, now known as the Ascendancy. At the heart of the story is Mia Lawson, a brilliant but disenchanted aerospace engineer, haunted by the loss of her family in a catastrophic climate event. Mia stumbles upon a classified document revealing the Ascendancy’s existence while working on a failing renewable energy project meant to revive her devastated city. With the help of Charlie, an optimistic hacker navigating the dark web, they devise a plan to infiltrate the Ascendancy’s domain.
