In the bustling heart of Tokyo, where neon lights flicker against shadowy alleyways, a motley crew of outcasts finds solace in their unconventional family. “Shoplifters” follows the life of Osamu, a seasoned thief struggling to make ends meet. Living in a cramped, run-down apartment with his partner, Nobuyo, and a group of misfits including cheerful teenager Aki and wise-beyond-her-years young girl, Yuri, they’ve formed a unique bond through their shared hardships and petty thefts.
