The K.E.O.P/S System

The K.E.O.P/S System

(2022)

In a near-future society where personal experiences and emotions can be manipulated and traded, “The K.E.O.P/S System” invites viewers into a world where memories are currency, and consciousness is a playground for the elite. The series follows Ava Lin, a brilliant but disillusioned software engineer, as she uncovers the dark underbelly of this revolutionary system. K.E.O.P/S—short for Knowledge, Emotion, Observation, Perception, and Sentience—was created to enhance human capability by allowing individuals to share and experience each other’s lives on a deeper level. As the technology captivates the masses, Ava finds herself questioning the ethics behind it.

When Ava’s younger brother, Jake, becomes addicted to the exhilarating highs of curated memories, she is drawn into a dangerous web of corporate greed and psychological manipulation. She teams up with Eli, a charismatic hacker haunted by his own past, who believes the K.E.O.P/S system has the power not only to connect but to control. Together, they embark on a mission to expose the sinister plans of PrismCorp, the corporation that developed the K.E.O.P/S System, and its ominous leader, CEO Mariana Voss, a visionary turned tyrant who will stop at nothing to maintain her power.

As Ava and Eli delve deeper, they discover a resistance movement, “The Unbound,” led by those who have suffered the system’s psychological toll. Each episode reveals the emotional and psychological struggles of individuals caught in the system—some seeking redemption, others lost in addiction, and a few wielding K.E.O.P/S to manipulate reality itself.

With each thrilling twist, “The K.E.O.P/S System” explores profound themes of identity, the ethics of technology, and the fragility of human connection. The series melds science fiction with psychological drama, urging viewers to reflect on the price of progress in an increasingly detached world. As Ava races against time to save her brother and reclaim their lives, audiences will be entranced by a poignant narrative that challenges the boundaries of human experience and the lengths to which we go for freedom.
